The glyphs in this font have been inspired by pictures posted in the newsgroup  alt.binaries.clip-art . They have in most cases been adapted, and in some cases totally re-drawn. I believe there is a general concensus that those pictures can be used for personal non-commercial purposes. Still, I tried to avoid the obvious copyright violations like, Disney , Warner Bros.  and Hanna-Barbera characters, and syndicated cartoonists.
I make no ownership claim to those pictures, not even those that have been re-drawn to the point, that they cannot be linked back to the original.

The top line, in each cell, shows the ANSI code and, if applicable, the keyboard key that will fetch the image.
The ANSI code is useful for non-keyboard characters, but can also be used for characters that do show on the keyboard. For example, the lowercase "a" has an ANSI code of 0097. If you hold the ALT key down while you  punch 0097 on the numeric keypad, your screen will show an a.  In this particular instance, it will show the corresponding dingbat.
